Hammond PCJ884CCL 8x8x4 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box with Feet

The PCJ884CCL is a square 8 x 8 x 4 in (203 x 203 x 102 mm) Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a hinged clear cover and polycarbonate mounting feet. Part of the metal-latch PCJ Series, it is designed to insulate and protect controls and components in indoor and outdoor conditions, with the series identifying industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar/wind and chemical plants as ideal uses. The clear cover allows quick visual inspection of the contents.

The body is injection moulded light gray polycarbonate with enhanced UV inhibitors, easily punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. It hinges on a stainless steel pin and closes with a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center that includes a padlocking provision. The drawing shows a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Enclosure dimensions are 7.94 in H x 8.15 in W x 3.98 in D (202 x 207 x 101 mm). The optional PCJR0808 inner panel, 6.75 x 6.88 in (171 x 175 mm), fastens to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; back panels are listed in 0.100 in aluminum and 0.075 in white steel.

Four polycarbonate feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws and provide four 0.32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94 and f1 per UL746C, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ884CCL ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
