Hammond PCJ201610CC 20x16x10 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box with Feet

The PCJ201610CC pairs the largest PCJ Series body with a clear polycarbonate lift-off cover, so indicators, meters and wiring can be checked without opening the box. It is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a nominal 20 x 16 x 10 in (508 x 406 x 254 mm) size and four polycarbonate mounting feet, aimed at users protecting controls and components indoors or outdoors in pump control, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plant work.

The body is injection moulded polycarbonate in light gray and the cover is injected clear polycarbonate. The polycarbonate carries enhanced UV inhibitors and can be punched, cut or drilled. The drawing specifies a 0.24 in (6.09 mm) wall, a FIP polyurethane gasket, and four #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel captive cover screws holding the lift-off cover.

Enclosure dimensions are 19.76 in H x 15.98 in W x 10.13 in D (502 x 406 x 257 mm). Brass inserts accept the optional P2068 inner panel (18.88 x 14.88 in / 480 x 378 mm), and the drawing lists back panels in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.188 in PVC, retained by plated carbon steel screws.

Four polycarbonate feet are fixed with #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel screws and provide four 0.32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes. The series carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, IEC 60529 IP66, UL 94 V-0 flammability and a UL746C f1 UV rating, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ201610CC ships at 20 lbs (9.07 kg).
