Hammond PCJ201610CCF 20x16x10 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box, Flange Mount

The PCJ201610CCF is the clear-cover, flange-mount version of the 20 x 16 x 10 in (508 x 406 x 254 mm) PCJ Series Type 4X polycarbonate junction box. The transparent lift-off cover lets technicians see inside at a glance, while the flanges put the mounting points outside the sealed enclosure. It suits controls and components that need insulation and protection indoors or out, including industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic and the cover is injected clear polycarbonate; both resist outdoor weathering with enhanced UV inhibitors and are easily punched, cut or drilled. The drawing calls for a 0.24 in (6.09 mm) wall, four #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel captive cover screws, and a FIP polyurethane gasket.

Enclosure dimensions are 19.76 in H x 15.98 in W x 10.13 in D (502 x 406 x 257 mm). The optional P2068 inner panel measures 18.88 x 14.88 in (480 x 378 mm); back panel versions shown on the drawing are 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.188 in PVC.

Mounting is by two polycarbonate flanges attached with six #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel screws, giving six 0.32 in (8.20 mm) mounting holes. Series ratings: UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP66; V-0 per UL 94; f1 UV rating per UL746C; RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ201610CCF ships at 20 lbs (9.07 kg).
