Hammond PCJ1082CCLF 10x8x2 Shallow Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box, Flange

The PCJ1082CCLF is a shallow 10 x 8 x 2 in (254 x 203 x 51 mm) Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a hinged clear cover and glued polycarbonate mounting flanges. It combines a low 2.70 in (69 mm) enclosure depth with a see-through lid, for wall-mounted devices or terminals that should be visible without opening. The metal-latch PCJ Series is designed to insulate and protect controls and components indoors and outdoors, including pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate with enhanced UV inhibitors and is easily punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. A 316 stainless steel hinge pin and a 316 stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center handle the cover, and the latch accepts a padlock. A FIP polyurethane gasket seals the opening.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in H x 8.15 in W x 2.70 in D (252 x 207 x 69 mm). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws hold the optional PCJR0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm); 0.100 in aluminum and 0.075 in white steel back panels are shown.

Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box, with four #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel flange and feet screws, and four 0.34 in (8.65 mm) mounting holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94 and f1 per UL746C, and RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ1082CCLF ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
