Hammond PCJ1082CCL 10x8x2 Shallow Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box, Feet

The PCJ1082CCL is the shallow member of the 10 x 8 in PCJ Series, a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a nominal 10 x 8 x 2 in (254 x 203 x 51 mm) size, a hinged clear cover and four polycarbonate feet. At 2.70 in (69 mm) deep it suits low-profile terminals, relays or small devices where the contents should stay visible. The metal-latch series is designed to insulate and protect controls and components indoors and outdoors, with pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants named as typical applications.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic, UV stabilized and easily punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. The cover hinges on a 316 stainless steel hinge pin and closes with a 316 stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, with padlocking provision. A FIP polyurethane gasket seals the cover.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in H x 8.15 in W x 2.70 in D (252 x 207 x 69 mm). The optional PCJR0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; the drawing lists 0.100 in aluminum and 0.075 in white steel back panels.

Four polycarbonate feet with #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel screws provide four 0.32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, UL 94 V-0 and UL746C f1, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight of the PCJ1082CCL is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
