Hammond PBPS19012GY2 7U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19012GY2 is a 7U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in ANSI61 dark gray, built to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, data center operators, telecom installers and integrators who need to close open rack units so conditioned air is directed through equipment instead of leaking around it.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) and finished in a smooth powder coat. The solid, flat face blocks airflow gaps, helping to prevent hot and cold air from mixing and supporting front-to-rear cooling in high-density installations. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant and gives a clean, uniform appearance across the rack face.

This part covers 7 rack units, with a nominal panel height of 12.25 in (311 mm) and a drawing height of 12.22 in (310 mm) over a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width. Eight mounting points are provided, using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots so the panel can be aligned to standard rack rail hole patterns. Mounting hardware is not included with PBPS19012GY2, so rack screws or cage nut hardware should be ordered to suit the rack rails in use.

PBPS19012GY2 is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA) in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). The panel is also available for private label.
