Hammond PBPS19008GY2 5U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19008GY2 is a 5U flat steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for data center, IT, telecom and AV installers who need to block open rack units so conditioned air is forced through equipment instead of bypassing it. The solid panel face blocks airflow gaps and supports proper front-to-rear cooling, helping prevent hot and cold air recirculation in high-density rack environments.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in), finished in a smooth ANSI61 dark gray powder coat for a clean, professional appearance that matches common rack and cabinet colours. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is REACH and RoHS compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

This size covers five rack units: the panel height is 8.75 in (222 mm) nominal, with a drawing height of 8.72 in (221 mm) and an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) for standard 19 in rack rails. Corners are radiused .12 in (3 mm). The panel uses four mounting points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so it can be fitted to standard rack rail hole patterns; mounting hardware is not included and should be ordered to suit your rack rails.
