Hammond PBPS19008BK 5U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Matte Black

The PBPS19008BK is a 5U solid steel rack blanking panel built to cover unused rack space in standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for data center, server room, telecom and network installers who need to close open rack units so conditioned air is directed through equipment instead of recirculating around it. The matte black (RAL9005) powder coat finish gives a clean, uniform appearance across the rack face.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The solid, flat panel design blocks airflow gaps to support proper front-to-rear cooling and helps separate equipment zones within a rack. The panel measures 8.75 in (222 mm) high, with a drawing overall panel height of 8.72 in (221 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width; flange detail is 1.48 in (38 mm) and 5.75 in (146 mm) per the drawing, with 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots (4X) and 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii.

PBPS19008BK mounts with 4 mounting points to the front rack rails. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to match your rail type. Shipping weight is 3.4 lbs (1.54 kg).
