Hammond PBPS19007LG2 4U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Light Gray

The PBPS19007LG2 is a 4U solid steel rack blanking panel from the PBPS Series, made to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for data center, server room, telecom and network installers who need to close open rack units so that conditioned supply air is not lost through gaps and hot exhaust air cannot recirculate back to equipment intakes.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel and finished in a smooth RAL7035 light gray powder coat, giving a clean, uniform appearance across the rack front. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America within an ISO 9001 certified facility.

This size occupies 4 rack units with a panel height of 7.00 in (178 mm) and an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) for standard 19 in rails. The drawing shows a formed panel height of 6.97 in (177 mm), a 1.48 in (38 mm) formed dimension, four 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots and 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg).

Installation uses the panel's four mounting points, so PBPS19007LG2 can be added or relocated as equipment layouts change. Because the panel is solid rather than vented, it blocks airflow gaps and supports front-to-rear cooling schemes, including hot aisle / cold aisle containment strategies, in both wall mount and floor-standing racks. Matching 4U panels are also offered in matte black, dark gray and matte white for colour-coordinated or zoned installations.
