Hammond PBPS19003GY2 2U Solid Steel Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19003GY2 is a 2U flat steel rack panel from the PBPS Series, used to cover unused rack space in standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for data center, server room, telecom and network installers who need to close open rack units so cooling air follows the intended front-to-rear path instead of recirculating between hot and cold sides of the rack.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge (0.072 in) mild steel and finished in a smooth ANSI61 dark gray powder coat for a clean, consistent appearance alongside other rack equipment. The solid, unvented face blocks airflow gaps completely, which supports thermal management strategies in high-density racks and hot aisle / cold aisle containment layouts.

Dimensionally, PBPS19003GY2 occupies 2U of rack height, with a panel height of 3.50 in (89 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width. The drawing shows an 18.32 in (465 mm) dimension across the panel face with a 3.47 in (88 mm) formed face section, a .23 in (6 mm) offset, and 4X 0.250 x 0.375 mounting slots with 4X R.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Shipping weight is 1.38 lbs (0.63 kg).

The panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA) in an ISO 9001 certified facility. It is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, and the powder coat finish is stated as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The PBPS Series is also available for private label.
