Hammond PBFS19014WH 8U Flanged Steel Rack Panel, Matt White

The PBFS19014WH is an 8U formed steel rack panel in RAL9003 matt white, built to cover unused rack space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers who need to close off open rack openings so cold supply air and hot exhaust air stay separated, and for anyone tidying up the front of a partially populated rack or cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel plate of the same coverage, and the smooth powder coat finish gives a clean, uniform face across the rack. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which supports government and institutional procurement requirements.

PBFS19014WH measures 19.00 in (483 mm) wide across the mounting flange with a nominal 8U panel height of 14.00 in (356 mm); the drawing shows an overall height of 13.97 in (355 mm) and a 0.50 in (13 mm) formed flange depth. Eight 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots are provided — four per side — for a total of 8 mounting points. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

Installation is straightforward: align the slots with the rack rail hole pattern and secure with rack screws or cage nuts. Mounting hardware is not included, so order rack mounting hardware separately.
