Hammond PBFS19014GY2 8U Flanged Steel Rack Panel, Dark Gray

The PBFS19014GY2 is an 8U formed steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers, facilities teams and OEM integrators who need to block open rack openings so cooling air follows the intended path instead of recirculating between hot and cold zones.

Construction is 16-gauge (0.057 in) mild steel with a formed, flanged profile. The flanged edges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel panel of the same coverage, and the smooth powder coat finish in ANSI61 dark gray gives a clean, uniform appearance across the rack face. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.

The panel measures 19.00 in (483 mm) wide across the mounting flanges by 14.00 in (356 mm) high, occupying 8U of vertical rack space. There are 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so the panel can be secured at four points per side for a flat, stable fit. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to match your rail type.
