Hammond PBFS19015BK 9U 16-Gauge Formed Steel Rack Blanking Panel

The PBFS19015BK is a 9U formed steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 inch EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT, telecom and AV professionals managing airflow and appearance in data centers, server rooms, network closets, and both wall mount and floor-standing racks.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanged design adds rigidity while reducing weight compared with flat steel panels, and the smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 matte black gives a clean, professional face across the rack. The same 9U panel is offered in ANSI61 dark gray, RAL7035 light gray and RAL9003 matt white under separate part numbers.

This panel occupies 9 rack units, with a nominal panel height of 15.75 in (400 mm) and a drawing height of 15.72 in (399 mm). Overall width across the mounting flanges is 19.00 in (483 mm), with a panel face width of 18.32 in (465 mm). Eight 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots provide 8 mounting points, spaced 4.00 in (102 mm), 4.75 in (121 mm) and 4.00 in (102 mm) apart vertically. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Mounting hardware is not included.

By blocking open rack space, PBFS19015BK helps prevent hot and cold air from recirculating, supporting cooling performance and separation of equipment zones. The panel is TAA-compliant and made in Canada, and it is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant; the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
