Hammond PBFS19010BK 6U Formed Steel Blanking Panel, 19 in EIA Rack

The PBFS19010BK is a 6U formed steel rack panel that fills 10.50 in (267 mm) of unused rack space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to close off open rack space to control airflow and give an equipment stack a finished, organized appearance.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanged profile adds rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel plate of the same coverage, and the smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 matte black provides a clean, professional look. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant as well as TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America, which supports government procurement requirements.

Overall width across the mounting flanges is 19.00 in (483 mm), with a panel body width of 18.32 in (465 mm) and a panel height of 10.50 in (267 mm) nominal (10.47 in / 266 mm on the drawing). The panel uses 8 mounting points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so it drops onto standard EIA rail hole patterns; mounting hardware is not included and should be ordered separately. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

By blocking open U space, PBFS19010BK helps prevent hot and cold air recirculation and supports thermal management strategies in data centers, server rooms, telecom closets and high-density racks. The panel is also available in dark gray (ANSI61), light gray (RAL7035) and matt white (RAL9003) versions, and in other heights from 1/2U to 10U within the PBFS Series.
