Hammond PBFS19003GY2 2U Formed Steel Rack Blank Panel, Dark Gray

PBFS19003GY2 is a 2U formed steel rack panel used to cover unused rack space in 19 inch equipment racks. It suits IT and network teams, AV integrators and facilities staff who need to close off open rack openings so cooling air moves through equipment instead of recirculating around it. The panel is finished in ANSI61 dark gray powder coat to blend with dark gray rack and cabinet hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge (0.057 in) mild steel with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than an equivalent flat steel plate, and they give the installed panel a clean, finished front face. The smooth powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America, which helps on government and institutional procurement.

This 2U size measures 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide overall, with a formed depth of 0.50 in (13 mm) and a shipping weight of 1.3 lbs (0.59 kg). It mounts through four 0.250 x 0.375 in slots at four mounting points, so it fits standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails in floor-standing, wall mount and open frame racks. Mounting hardware is not included with PBFS19003GY2 and should be ordered to match your rack rail threading or square-hole pattern.
