Hammond PBFS19001LG2 1U Light Gray Formed Steel Rack Blank Panel

PBFS19001LG2 is a 1U formed steel rack panel used to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It suits IT, AV and telecom installers working in data centers, server rooms, network closets and both wall mount and floor-standing racks where open rack openings need to be closed off for airflow control and a tidy front elevation.

The panel is made from 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with a formed, flanged edge that adds rigidity while keeping weight lower than a flat steel panel of the same size. The finish is a smooth powder coat in RAL7035 light gray, described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, giving a clean appearance that can be matched to surrounding rack equipment. Matte black, dark gray (ANSI61) and matt white versions of the same 1U size are also offered in the PBFS series.

This size occupies a single rack unit: panel height is 1.75 in (44 mm) with an overall panel width of 19.00 in (483 mm) and a formed face height of 1.72 in (44 mm) per the drawing. It mounts at 4 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots (4X). Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws separately.

Installed in unused openings, PBFS19001LG2 helps prevent hot and cold air recirculation, supports thermal management strategies and separates equipment zones within the rack. The part is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), with RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliance declared, making it suitable for government and regulated procurement.
