Hammond PBFS19001GY2 1U Formed Steel Rack Filler Panel, Dark Gray

The PBFS19001GY2 is a 1U formed steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to block open rack openings so cooling air moves through equipment rather than recirculating around it. The panel ships in an ANSI61 dark gray powder coat finish, with matte black, light gray and matt white versions offered elsewhere in the PBFS Series.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel plate of the same coverage, and the smooth powder coat finish gives a clean, professional appearance in visible rack elevations. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This 1U size measures 1.75 in (44 mm) high with a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width and a 0.50 in (13 mm) formed depth, and weighs 0.76 lbs (0.34 kg). It mounts at 4 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, which allow some adjustment as the panel is drawn up to the rack rails. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware separately to match your rails.
