Hammond PA1UBK 1U 23 to 19 Inch Rack Rail Width Reducer Pair

The PA1UBK is a 1U rack rail width reducer that lets 23-inch and 24-inch racks accept standard 19-inch rackmount equipment. Sold in pairs so both the left and right rails are adapted, it is aimed at IT and network integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams who need to fit current 19-inch hardware into wider telecom or legacy frames without modifying the rack.

Each reducer is formed from 14-gauge mild steel for durable structural support in rack width conversion applications, with rounded corners to reduce sharp edges during handling and installation. The finish is a matte black powder coat (RAL9005) that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting both environmental and durability requirements.

PA1UBK covers one rack unit, 1.75 in (44 mm) of mounting height, and the drawing shows an overall top-view length of 3.12 in (79 mm) with a material thickness of .09 in (2 mm). Equipment mounting holes are 10-32 tapped to EIA spacing, and 0.250 x 0.375 in oblong holes are provided for attachment to the existing rack rail. Four 12-24 x 5/8 in mounting screws are supplied with the pair.
