Hammond NWC27U2436WNLG 27U Type 12 Sealed Wall Cabinet, Window Door

The NWC27U2436WNLG is a 27U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "N" configuration of the NWC Series, which means it ships with no climate control and no cutouts of any kind — a fully solid, sealed enclosure — fitted with a window door in RAL7035 Light Gray. It suits IT/AV integrators, electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams deploying edge computing, IDF and automation equipment in harsh spaces.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with a powder coat finish (GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The double-hinged cabinet design with concealed hinges gives dual access for installation and servicing, and gasketed doors seal the enclosure. External mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry, and dedicated bonding and grounding points allow proper bonding of all cabinet components.

Nominal size is 51.89 in x 24 in x 36 in (1,318 mm x 610 mm x 914 mm), with overall drawing dimensions of 58.02 in high x 24.50 in wide x 36.22 in deep (1474 x 622 x 920 mm). Usable mounting space is 27U: 48.00 in (1219 mm) of height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of depth with the swing-out function. Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails are 19-inch rack compatible, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included. The drawing also shows power bar mounting that does not consume U space.

NWC27U2436WNLG is UL2416 Type 12 rated with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating, independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56, and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It meets PCI DSS requirements and is TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America.
