Hammond NWC27U2436WFLG 27U Filtered Window-Door Wall Cabinet, Type 12

The NWC27U2436WFLG is a 27U environmental wall-mount cabinet with a window door and factory-supplied Type 12 filters, built for network and industrial equipment that has to live in dusty, dirty or wet environments. It suits manufacturing and automation plants, edge computing sites and IDF closets where a standard indoor wall cabinet would not survive. The cabinet is finished in RAL7035 Light Gray powder coat.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with gasketed doors, giving a sealed enclosure that protects equipment from dust, dirt and dripping liquids. The design is UL2416 Type 12 rated with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating, independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets, and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. Overall dimensions are 58.02 in (1474 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 48.00 in (1219 mm) of usable mounting height (27U) and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable depth using the swing-out function. Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails are included, along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws. The double-hinged, 19-inch rack compatible design with concealed hinges gives access from front and rear for installation and service.

As an "F" version, NWC27U2436WFLG ships with rear and door filters (four 6" exhaust filters, shipped inside the cabinet) that maintain the UL Type 12 rating and are compatible with the DNFK1AC120, DTFK1AC120E and DTFK1AC150 fan kits. Dedicated bonding and grounding points, external mounting feet and a rear pan design for cable entry complete the installation. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.
