The NWC27U2436WABK is a 27U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and washdown-adjacent conditions. It is the window-door, air-conditioned ("A") version of the NWC Series in RAL9005 Black, and ships with a factory-supplied 900-1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner with cord (the A/C unit ships inside the cabinet).
Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel, UL2416 Type 12 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. Gasketed doors seal the enclosure against dust, dirt and dripping liquids, and the cabinet has been independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
Overall dimensions are 58.02 in (1474 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 48.00 in (1219 mm) of usable 27U mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth using the swing-out function (26.55 in / 674 mm maximum equipment depth). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped rails accept standard 19 in rack equipment, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.
The double-hinged design gives dual access for installation and service, dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical installation, and external mounting feet plus a rear pan support secure wall installation and cable entry. NWC27U2436WABK is TAA-compliant, manufactured in Canada, and meets PCI DSS compliance requirements.
