Hammond NWC27U2436SNBK 27U Sealed Wall-Mount Cabinet, Type 12 Solid Door

The NWC27U2436SNBK is a 27U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the solid-door, no-climate-control ("N") version of the NWC Series in RAL9005 Black, so it ships as a completely sealed enclosure with no cutouts of any kind. Integrators, plant electricians, automation engineers and facilities teams use it where a standard indoor wall cabinet would not hold up.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with gasketed doors, UL2416 Type 12 rated to a 350 lb (158 kg) load and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The cabinet has been independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Overall dimensions are 58.02 in (1474 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 48.00 in (1219 mm) of usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable depth using the swing-out function. Maximum equipment depth is 26.55 in (674 mm). The double-hinged, 19-inch rack-compatible design gives access from both the front and the rear for installation and servicing.

Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails let you position equipment flexibly, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included. A power bar can be mounted without consuming U space. External mounting feet and a rear pan support secure wall installation and cable entry, and dedicated bonding and grounding points are provided. NWC27U2436SNBK is manufactured in Canada, TAA-compliant and meets PCI DSS requirements.
