Hammond NWC12U2436WNBK 12U Sealed Wall-Mount Cabinet, Window Door

The NWC12U2436WNBK is a 12U sealed wall-mount cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "N" configuration, meaning it ships without climate control and with no cutouts of any kind, so the enclosure remains solid, and it is fitted with a window door in RAL9005 Black. Typical buyers are IT and AV integrators, plant electricians, controls engineers and facilities teams deploying IDF or edge computing gear on a wall in a working production environment.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with gasketed doors, concealed hinges and a black powder coat finish described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The double-hinged cabinet design (19" rack compatible) gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing, and dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical installation and bonding of all cabinet components. External mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry.

Overall dimensions are 31.77 in high x 24.50 in wide x 36.22 in deep (807 x 622 x 920 mm), with 12U of usable mounting height at 22.00 in (559 mm) and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth. Rail-to-rail depth is 26.55 in (674 mm) and maximum equipment depth is 30.00 in (762 mm) with the swing-out function. Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 rails set equipment position, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included. The drawing also shows power bar mounting without using 'U' space.

NWC12U2436WNBK is UL2416 Type 12 rated with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating, independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56, and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It meets PCI DSS compliance requirements and is TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America.
