Hammond IPC1676 36U 23-Inch Deep NEMA 12 Workstation Cabinet

The IPC1676 is a modular industrial computer workstation cabinet built to house and protect industrial PCs, HMI equipment and control system hardware on the factory floor. It combines a monitor viewing window, a sealed keyboard compartment with a pull-out keyboard tray, and EIA-310 compliant rack mounting in a single freestanding enclosure, making it suited to integrators, controls engineers and plant maintenance teams who need operator access without exposing electronics to the surrounding environment.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel with a rated 1500 lb capacity, finished in a light gray powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant (the manufacturer's long description lists the colour as beige). Solid front, rear and side panels with key-locking handles control access, while gasketed doors and panels maintain the seal. Grounding and bonding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels, and there is provision for lifting eyebolts to assist handling and installation.

IPC1676 measures 70.31 in x 27.99 in x 23.62 in (1,786 mm x 711 mm x 600 mm) and ships on a skid at 350 lbs (158.76 kg). Mounting space is divided into 13U in the top front position, 16U in the bottom front position and 36U in the full rear position, using three sets of 12-gauge, 10-32 threaded EIA-310 combination rails. A starter pack of 10-32 mounting hardware (SCREW1032-25) is included. The monitor window opening is 13.50 in x 17.99 in (343 mm x 457 mm).

Sealing is rated to UL 508A Type 12, CSA Type 12, NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant and made in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
