Hammond IPC1876 40U 23in Deep NEMA 12 Computer Workstation Cabinet

The IPC1876 is a modular industrial computer workstation cabinet built to house and protect industrial PCs, HMIs and control equipment on the factory floor. It is intended for automation engineers, controls integrators, OEMs and facilities teams that need standard rack-mounted computing hardware sealed against dust, dirt and dripping liquids while keeping the monitor and keyboard accessible to operators.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel with a 1500 lb capacity, finished in a light gray powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Solid front, rear and side panels use key-locking handles for access control, and doors and panels are gasketed to maintain the NEMA Type 12 seal. Grounding and bonding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels, and there is provision for lifting eyebolts to assist safe handling and placement. The design is freestanding and modular, so multiple enclosures can be joined for larger or multi-function workstation configurations.

Overall dimensions of the IPC1876 are 77.32 in x 27.99 in x 23.62 in (1,964 mm x 711 mm x 600 mm), with a shipping weight of 370 lbs (167.83 kg) on a skid. Equipment mounting is handled by three sets of EIA-310 compliant 10-32 threaded combination mounting rails in 12-gauge steel, providing 15U in the top front position, 16U in the bottom front position and 40U at the full rear. A starter pack of 10-32 mounting hardware (SCREW1032-25) is included.

The integrated workstation layout includes a 13.50 in x 17.99 in (343 mm x 457 mm) monitor viewing window, a sealed keyboard compartment and a pull-out keyboard tray behind a black cover. The cabinet is rated UL 508A Type 12, CSA Type 12, NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54, is RoHS, REACH and TAA compliant, and is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
