Hammond IPC1678 36U Nema 12 Industrial Workstation Cabinet, 31.5" Deep

The IPC1678 is a modular industrial computer workstation cabinet designed to house and protect industrial PCs, HMIs and control equipment on factory floors and in other harsh environments. It combines a monitor viewing window, a keyboard compartment with pull-out keyboard tray and internal EIA-310 rack rails so operator interface hardware and rack-mount equipment can be integrated in one freestanding sealed cabinet.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel with a rated 1500 lb capacity, finished in a light gray powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Gasketed doors and panels together with solid front, rear and side panels with key-locking handles deliver NEMA Type 12, UL 508A Type 12, CSA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54 sealed protection against dust, dirt and dripping liquids. Grounding and bonding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels, and there is provision for lifting eyebolts to simplify handling and placement.

The IPC1678 measures 70.31 in x 27.99 in x 31.5 in (1,786 mm x 711 mm x 800 mm) overall and ships on a skid at 385 lbs (174.63 kg). Usable rack space is organised as 13U top front, 16U bottom front and 36U full rear, with a 13.50 in x 17.99 in (343 mm x 457 mm) monitor window. Three sets of 12-gauge, 10-32 threaded EIA-310 combination mounting rails are included, along with a starter pack of 10-32 mounting hardware (SCREW1032-25).

The freestanding modular design lets multiple enclosures be joined for larger or multi-function workstation layouts. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America within an ISO 9001 certified facility, and it is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant for procurement and supply-chain documentation.
