HYG1613 is the replacement hygienic N4X gasket for the HYJ16138SS, the 16.36 in high, 8.00 in deep enclosure in the HYJ Series of Hygienic Type 4X Stainless Steel Junction Boxes. It is aimed at maintenance planners, integrators and OEMs who need to renew the door seal on a washdown junction box that is already installed.
The HYJ Series places its silicone gasket around the entire door edge so it can be cleaned efficiently in hygienic environments. The gasket is easily removed and re-installed for cleaning or replacement, and additional silicone gaskets like this one are ordered separately. Hygienic enclosures in the range use a blue silicone gasket, which makes contaminants easier to detect.
