Hammond HWM2424U26WDWH 24U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, Window Door, White

The HWM2424U26WDWH is a 24U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a window front door, finished in RAL9003 white, for IT, telecom and data communication installations that need enclosed 19-inch rack mounting plus full rear access. The window door lets technicians see indicator lights and equipment status without opening the cabinet, making it suited to network closets and communication rooms with active gear.

Construction is mild steel: a 14-gauge welded rear section with a 16-gauge center section and doors, UL2416 listed to a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The cabinet body is reversible so the swing direction can be changed on site, and a heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism with concealed hinges supports controlled swing-out access for servicing and cable management.

This model uses the 26 in center section depth. Overall dimensions are 48.81 in (1240 mm) high x 24.68 in (627 mm) wide x 31.18 in (792 mm) deep, with mounting (usable) dimensions of 42.00 in (1067 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 28.85 in (733 mm) deep — the usable depth being the maximum equipment depth that still allows the body section to swing out unimpeded. Overall internal space is 30.85 in (784 mm) deep.

HWM2424U26WDWH ships with the rear section, center section, 24U window door assembly and one pair of 19 in tapped 10-32 panel rails, plus a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. Multiple double knockouts on the top, bottom and both sides support structured cable routing, a fan knockout pattern accepts optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans, and power bars can be mounted without consuming U space.
