Hammond HWM2424U20WH 24U Vented Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, White

The HWM2424U20WH is a 24U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a vented front door, finished in RAL9003 white, built for mounting 19-inch rack equipment in IT and telecom environments that need a secure enclosure with rear access. It suits network closets, communication rooms and structured cabling installations with active equipment.

Construction is mild steel with a 14-gauge welded rear section and 16-gauge center section and doors. The HWM Series is UL2416 listed with a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating and is seismic rated to a 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the product is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.

This 24U version measures 48.81 in x 24.68 in x 25.7 in (1,240 mm x 627 mm x 653 mm) nominal, with a 20 in center section depth. Mounting (usable) dimensions are 42.00 in (1067 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 22.85 in (580 mm) deep — the maximum equipment depth that lets the body section swing out unimpeded. One pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped 19-inch rails is included, along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws.

A heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism gives controlled swing-out access for servicing, and the cabinet body is reversible so swing direction can be changed on site. Multiple cable entry knockouts, rear cable access, integrated ventilation and fan knockouts for optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans round out HWM2424U20WH.
