Hammond HWM2432U20BK 32U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, Vented Door, Black

The HWM2432U20BK is a 32U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a vented front door, built for mounting 19-inch rack equipment in IT and telecom spaces that need a secure enclosure plus full rear access. It suits network closets, communication rooms and structured cabling environments with active equipment, and is a practical choice for integrators, electricians and facilities teams working where floor space is not available.

Construction is mild steel with a 14-gauge welded rear section and 16-gauge center section and door, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. The center section swings out on a heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism with concealed hinges for front and full rear access, and the cabinet body is reversible so the swing direction can be changed on site. Multiple cable entry knockouts (including double knockouts top, bottom and both sides) and a rear opening support structured cable routing, while the vented door and fan knockout pattern accept optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans.

Overall size is 62.75 in x 24.68 in x 25.7 in (1,594 mm x 627 mm x 653 mm) with a 20 in center section depth, and the series ordering table lists an overall depth of 25.18 in (640 mm). Usable mounting space is 56.00 in (1422 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with 22.85 in (580 mm) of usable depth — the maximum equipment depth that lets the body section swing out unimpeded.

HWM2432U20BK ships with one pair of adjustable 19-inch tapped 10-32 mounting rails and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. It is UL2416 listed (UL file E474597) at a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. TAA-compliant and made in Canada, it is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
