Hammond HWM2424U20WDBK 24U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, Window Door, Black

The HWM2424U20WDBK is a 24U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a window front door, finished in RAL9005 black. It is built for IT and telecom teams, integrators and facilities groups that need to mount 19-inch rack equipment in a secure, enclosed wall cabinet while keeping full rear access for cabling and servicing. The window door lets you see indicator LEDs and equipment status without opening the cabinet.

Construction is mild steel with a 14-gauge welded rear section and 16-gauge center section and doors, finished in powder coat. The center section swings out on a heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism, and the cabinet body is reversible so the swing direction can be changed on site. Concealed hinges, multiple cable entry knockouts (including Ø0.62 in, Ø1.12/1.38 in, Ø2.00/3.00 in double knockouts top and bottom, and Ø2.00/2.50 in double knockouts on both sides) and a rear opening support structured cable routing, while the fan knockout pattern accepts optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans.

Overall dimensions are 48.81 in x 24.68 in x 25.17 in (1240 x 627 x 639 mm), with a 20 in (508 mm) center section depth and 24U of mounting space measuring 42.00 in high x 19.00 in wide x 22.85 in usable depth. Usable depth is the maximum equipment depth that still allows the body section to swing out unimpeded. Shipping weight is 150 lbs (68.04 kg).

HWM2424U20WDBK ships with one pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped 19-inch panel rails and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws, plus a pin stop bracket, and includes provision for power bar mounting without using U space. The series is UL2416 listed to a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating (UL file E474597) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and made in Canada.
