Hammond HWM2420U26WH 20U 26in Deep Vented Swing-Out Wall Cabinet

The HWM2420U26WH is a 20U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a vented front door, finished in RAL9003 white textured powder coat. It is part of the HWM Series, a UL2416 listed solution for mounting 19-inch rack equipment in IT and telecom environments that require a secure enclosure together with full rear access. Network closets, telecom and data communication rooms, and government, education and commercial IT spaces are typical homes for this cabinet.

Construction is heavy duty: a 14-gauge welded rear section with a 16-gauge center section and door. The cabinet is UL2416 rated to 350 lb (159 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The material is mild steel, and the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This 20U size gives 35.00 in (889 mm) of usable mounting height, 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width and 28.85 in (733 mm) of usable depth, with a 26 in center section depth. Overall dimensions are 41.75 in high x 24.68 in wide x 31.18 in deep per the series table, and the drawing shows 30.97 in (787 mm) of overall internal space.

The HWM2420U26WH ships with one pair of 19-inch tapped 10-32 panel rails plus a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. A heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism controls swing-out access, and the cabinet body is reversible so the swing direction can be changed on site. Multiple cable entry knockouts, rear cable access, ventilation and fan knockouts (optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans) round out the design. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.
