Hammond HWCVD3012UBK 12U 30-Inch Vented Locking Door, 64% Airflow

The HWCVD3012UBK is a 12U vented locking door sized for 30-inch wide Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities installations where enclosed equipment needs security and a lockable front while still allowing passive airflow through the door face. This door is part of the HWCD Series, which is made exclusively for use with the HWC Series.

Construction is 16-gauge steel with a 64% airflow vented pattern, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The door measures 24 in x 30 in x 1.34 in (610 mm x 762 mm x 34 mm) and ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg). The drawing shows an overall panel width of 29.69 in (754 mm) and height of 24.00 in (610 mm).

Hinges can be mounted on the left or right, so HWCVD3012UBK can be configured for the swing direction that suits the wall location. The door includes a snap-latch lock and two keys, plus door mounting hardware. Supplied components include a right-hand and left-hand surface door hinge, two hinge cover plates, two stick-on rubber bumper feet, four #10-24 x 3/8 thread cutting screws in black, a draw latch and a latch striker. Hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose.

The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA). Matching 12U 30-inch doors are also offered in solid, tinted window and positive pressure filter fan styles for mixed deployments.
