Hammond HWCVD3018UBK 18U 30-Inch Wide 64% Vented Locking Door

The HWCVD3018UBK is an 18U, 30 in wide 64% airflow vented locking door built exclusively for use with the Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to secure a wall-mounted cabinet while still allowing passive convection cooling of switches, patch panels and other rack-mounted equipment.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The vented pattern provides 64% airflow, making it an alternative to the solid (HWCSD3018UBK) and tinted acrylic window (HWCWD3018UBK) doors offered in the same size within the HWCD Series.

Overall size is 35 in x 30 in x 1.37 in (889 mm x 762 mm x 35 mm) with a shipping weight of 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Drawing dimensions for this door include a 34.50 in (876 mm) and 31.27 in (794 mm) front-view height reference, a 29.69 in (754 mm) top-view width and a 1.52 in (39 mm) depth detail.

Door mounting hardware is included, and the hinge components and latch hardware ship loose so the hinges can be mounted on either the left or right side of the cabinet. The assembly includes right-hand and left-hand surface door hinges, two hinge cover plates, two stick-on rubber bumper feet, four #10-24 x 3/8 thread cutting screws, a draw latch and latch striker, plus a snap-latch lock with two keys.
