The HW423612SSHK combines a 42 x 36 in face with a 12 in depth (1,067 x 914 x 305 mm) in 304 stainless steel. It is a Type 4X wallmount enclosure for electrical and electronic equipment exposed to harsh industrial conditions, hose-down cleaning or wet environments where corrosion matters, and it fits applications in processing plants, utilities, outdoor municipal sites and petrochemical locations.
The enclosure is made of formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural, smooth brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the opening. The hinged door runs on a stainless steel continuous hinge and lifts free once the hinge pin is pulled; a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with a 3 point roller latching system keeps it shut.
