The Hammond HSIP204 is a side mounting inner panel from the HMESIP Series, made for HME modular freestanding cabinets that are 2000 mm (78.74 in) high and 400 mm (15.75 in) deep. Panel shops and system integrators use it to build out the side of the cabinet interior, including installation of 19" mounting rails with center support.
It is formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel and supplied unpainted. The panel is 1743 mm (68.62 in) high and 275 mm (10.83 in) wide overall, suiting the 2000 mm cabinet height with the 400 mm deep cabinet, the shallowest depth in the range. Detail A on the drawing shows 5 mm (0.19 in) diameter holes, along with a 6 mm (0.25 in) diameter hole.
The HSIP204 mounts directly to the frame and can be used in combination with depth grid straps top and bottom. Because the panel is shorter than the cabinet, its reduced height may allow cable pass through between ganged cabinets.
