The Hammond HSIP188 is a side mounting inner panel from the HMESIP Series, made for HME modular freestanding cabinets that are 1800 mm (70.87 in) high and 800 mm (31.50 in) deep. Panel shops and system integrators use it to build out the side of the cabinet interior, including installation of 19" mounting rails with center support.
It is formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel and supplied unpainted. The panel is 1573 mm (61.93 in) high per the ordering table (the part drawing shows 1543 mm (60.75 in)) and 675 mm (26.57 in) wide overall, suiting the 1800 mm cabinet height with an 800 mm deep cabinet, the deepest option in the range. Detail A on the drawing shows 5 mm (0.19 in) diameter holes.
The HSIP188 mounts directly to the frame and can be used in combination with depth grid straps top and bottom. Because the panel is shorter than the cabinet, its reduced height may allow cable pass through between ganged cabinets.
