Hammond HP400PCLG 4" Conduit Type 4X Polycarbonate Hole Plug, Light Gray

For light gray enclosures with an unused 4" conduit opening, the HP400PCLG provides a sealed, non-metallic closure in RAL7035 Light Gray. It fits plugged holes of 4.50 in (114 mm) to 4.75 in (121 mm) diameter, with 4" conduit (4.641 in) as its trade-size reference. It is aimed at OEM panel builders, integrators and facility electricians who need the closure to blend with a RAL7035 cabinet.

The plug and nut are molded polycarbonate and the seal is a closed cell EPDM/neoprene blend gasket, protecting the opening against dust, oil and water. The plug face measures 5.12 in (130 mm) across. According to the drawing the head is .24 in (5.97 mm) and the body .75 in (19.05 mm), giving an installed depth of .24 in + .75 in + panel wall thickness.

Compatible wall thickness runs from 0.06 in (2 mm) to 0.25 in (6 mm), which is 16 gauge to 1/4" in series terms. The self centering, anti-rotational design supports a quick one-person installation with no tools required.

The HPN4PC series is recognized (UR/cUR) for use with UL and CSA listed enclosures rated Type 1, 3, 3R, 4 and 4X. HP400PCLG is REACH and RoHS compliant with a 0.4 lbs (0.18 kg) shipping weight. The ANSI 61 Gray equivalent is HP400PCGY.
