The Hammond HP50PCLG is a molded polycarbonate hole plug in RAL7035 Light Gray from the HPN4PC Series, built to close an unused 0.5 in conduit knockout in an enclosure wall. It fits a plugged hole diameter range of 0.81 in (21 mm) to 0.94 in (24 mm), and is intended for panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers who need a non-metallic seal against dust, oil and water.
Its trade size references cover both a 1/2" conduit knockout (.875 in) and a 22mm pushbutton hole (.886 in). The external diameter is 1.25 in (32 mm), compared with a maximum plugged hole diameter of 0.94 in (24 mm).
The plug and nut are both molded polycarbonate, and the gasket is a closed-cell EPDM/neoprene blend. A self-centering, anti-rotational design lets one person install the HP50PCLG quickly with no tools required. It is compatible with enclosure wall thickness from 16 gauge to 1/4", listed in the ordering table as 0.06 in (2 mm) to 0.25 in (6 mm).
