Hammond HN4WM24488S16 24x48x8 Two Door 316 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount

The HN4WM24488S16 is a 48 in wide, two door Type 4X wallmount enclosure formed from 12 gauge 316 stainless steel and supplied with a removable inner panel. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, stay very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Enclosure dimensions are 24.00 in H x 48.00 in W x 8.00 in D (610 x 1219 x 203 mm). The inner panel measures 21.00 in H x 45.00 in W (533 x 1143 mm). The drawing shows a 45.25 in x 21.25 in door opening, two 22.00 in wide doors, 8.03 in of usable depth and 16.93 in x 20.58 in of clear space available on each door for operators and indicators.

Doors are supported by heavy gauge continuous hinges and closed with a 3-pt padlocking door handle onto a seamless poured-in place gasket. Seams are smooth and continuously welded with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door are provided, and the center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel. The panel is finished in white powder coating, while the cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

It is listed UL 508A Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. The unit ships in a box with a listed shipping weight of 95 lbs. The 304 stainless version is HN4WM24488SS.
