Hammond HN4WM24428S16 24x42x8 Two Door 316 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount

The HN4WM24428S16 is a two door Type 4X wallmount enclosure in formed 12 gauge 316 stainless steel, supplied with a removable inner panel. At 24 x 42 x 8 in it gives a wide, shallow housing for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, be very wet, or face serious corrosion.

The enclosure measures 24.00 in H x 42.00 in W x 8.00 in D (610 x 1067 x 203 mm), and the included panel is 21.00 in H x 39.00 in W (533 x 991 mm). The part drawing shows a 39.25 in x 21.25 in door opening, two 19.00 in wide doors, 8.03 in of usable depth and 13.93 in x 20.58 in of clear space available on each door.

Doors are supported with heavy gauge continuous hinges and secured by a 3-pt padlocking door handle, sealing on a seamless poured-in place gasket. The body has smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a grounding stud in the enclosure plus a bonding stud on the door. The center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel, which is finished in white powder coating; the cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

It is listed UL 508A Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 150 lbs, packed in a box. The 304 stainless version is HN4WM24428SS.
