Hammond HN4WM24428SS 24x42x8 Two Door 304 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount

For wall-mounted controls that need Type 4X protection, the HN4WM24428SS offers a two door, 24 x 42 x 8 in enclosure in formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, complete with a removable inner panel. It is designed for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, stay very wet, or face serious corrosion.

The enclosure is 24.00 in H x 42.00 in W x 8.00 in D (610 x 1067 x 203 mm). Its inner panel measures 21.00 in H x 39.00 in W (533 x 991 mm) and is finished in white powder coating. According to the drawing, the door opening is 39.25 in x 21.25 in, the two doors are 19.00 in wide, usable depth is 8.03 in, and each door has 13.93 in x 20.58 in of clear space available.

The doors swing on heavy gauge continuous hinges and are locked with a 3-pt padlocking door handle, closing onto a seamless poured-in place gasket. The body is built with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door, and the removable center post makes it easy to install or remove the inner panel. Cover and body are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

The HN4WM24428SS is listed UL 508A Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X, and 12 (LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships boxed at 140 lbs; the 316 stainless version is HN4WM24428S16.
