Hammond HN4FS903624SS 90x36x24 304 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

Built for control panels that face hose-down cleaning, heavy moisture or corrosive air, the HN4FS903624SS is a single access Type 4X freestanding enclosure in formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. It houses electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and is set up for either panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment.

The body measures 90.06 in H x 36.06 in W x 24.06 in D (2,288 x 916 x 611 mm). Per the part drawing, a 34.38 in x 80.53 in door covers a 33.31 in x 79.31 in door opening, leaving 28.87 in x 78.86 in of clear space available on the door for pilot devices or a window kit.

Construction details include smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes; a heavy gauge continuous hinge; a 3-pt padlocking door handle; and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts are provided with reinforcing support angles. There is a grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door, and mounting channels are welded inside to carry the optional 90YFW full size panel or rack equipment rails.

Standards: UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (LR21001), and compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 plus IEC 60529 IP66. REACH and RoHS compliant. The natural stainless enclosure has a smooth brushed finish, ships on a skid at 475 lbs, and has a 316 stainless counterpart, HN4FS903624S16.
