Hammond HN4FS903624S16 90x36x24 316 Stainless Single Door Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS903624S16 is a 316 stainless steel, single access freestanding enclosure with a 24 in nominal depth, sized 90 x 36 x 24 in. Like the rest of the HN4 FS SS series it is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

The series ordering table gives 90.06 in H x 36.06 in W x 24.06 in D (2288 x 916 x 611 mm). On the part drawing the door measures 34.38 in x 80.53 in over a 33.31 in x 79.31 in opening, with 28.87 in x 78.86 in of clear space available on the door.

A heavy gauge continuous hinge supports the door, which is closed by a 3-pt padlocking handle onto a seamless poured-in-place gasket. The body is built with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes, and is finished in natural brushed stainless. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are included, together with a grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. Welded channels inside accept the optional 90YFW full size panel or rack equipment rails for panel or rack mounting.

The enclosure carries UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (LR21001) listings, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 500 lbs on a skid. The 304 stainless alternative is HN4FS903624SS.
