The HN4FS727224SS is a single access, two door Type 4X freestanding enclosure with a square 72 x 72 in face and 24 in nominal depth. Formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, it houses electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where hose-down, heavy moisture or corrosion is a concern.
Nominal size is 72 x 72 x 24 in (1,829 x 1,829 x 610 mm); overall drawing dimensions are 72.06 x 72.06 x 24.06 in. The two doors are each 34.00 in wide and 62.53 in tall over 32.55 in wide openings, and each has 30.06 in x 60.62 in of clear space available for operator devices.
The enclosure uses smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes. Its doors hang on heavy gauge continuous hinges and are secured by a 3-pt padlocking door handle, sealing on a seamless poured-in place gasket. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid handling. A grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door are fitted, and the removable center post simplifies installation of the optional 72ZYFW full height/full width panel.
