Hammond HN4FS723636DASS 72x36x36 Dual Access 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS723636DASS is a dual access, 304 stainless steel freestanding enclosure with a square 36 x 36 in footprint and 72 in nominal height. It is built for large electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic control systems in locations that are hosed down, very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Enclosure size is 72.06 x 36.06 x 36.06 in (1830 x 916 x 916 mm); the nominal size is 72 x 36 x 36 in (1,829 x 914 x 914 mm). The drawing shows a 34.38 in wide door, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.23 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. It ships on a skid at 500 lbs (226.80 kg).

Formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel is continuously welded with smooth seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Doors hang on heavy gauge continuous hinges, seal on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and lock with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided, and the natural stainless finish is smooth brushed.

Welded internal mounting channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; 72YFW is the optional full size inner panel. A grounding stud sits in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
