Hammond HN4FS723630SS 72x36x30 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS723630SS, described by Hammond as an N4X 3-pt freestanding enclosure, 72 x 36 x 30, 304 SS, is the 30 in deep single-access option in the 36 in wide range. It gives integrators room for deeper components while protecting electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in wet, hose-down or corrosive locations.

Overall size is 72.06 x 36.06 x 30.06 in (1,830 x 916 x 764 mm). The drawing lists a 34.38 in door width, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.29 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 440 lbs (199.58 kg), and the enclosure ships on a skid.

It is formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A heavy gauge continuous hinge carries the door, which seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and locks with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided; the finish is natural stainless, smooth brushed.

Welded mounting channels inside take optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; 72YFW is the optional full size panel, finished in white powder paint. A grounding stud is in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert.
