Hammond HN4FS723636S16 72x36x36 316 Stainless Single Access Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS723636S16 is a single-access 316 stainless steel freestanding enclosure measuring 36 in wide and 36 in deep. Within the HN4 FS SS Series it serves large electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic control installations where equipment is hosed down, very wet, or exposed to serious corrosion.

Enclosure dimensions are 72.06 x 36.06 x 36.06 in (1830 x 916 x 916 mm), nominal 72 x 36 x 36 in (1,829 x 914 x 914 mm). The drawing lists a 34.38 in door width, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.29 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 520 lbs (235.87 kg), skid packed.

Construction uses smooth, continuously welded seams with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The single door hangs on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, seals against a seamless poured-in-place gasket and secures with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided for handling. Cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

Mounting channels welded inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; 72YFW is the optional full size panel. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
