Hammond HN4FS722418S16 72x24x18 316 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS722418S16 is a single-access, 316 stainless steel freestanding enclosure from the HN4 FS SS Series, built to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls where equipment may be hosed down, stays very wet, or faces serious corrosion. Its 18.06 in depth makes it the shallowest 72 in tall, 24 in wide option in the single access line-up.

Overall size is 72.06 x 24.06 x 18.06 in (1830 x 611 x 459 mm), listed nominally as 72 x 24 x 18 in. The drawing shows a 22.38 in wide door, a 21.31 in door opening width and 17.32 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 320 lbs (145.15 kg) on a skid.

Seams are smooth and continuously welded with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door hangs on heavy gauge continuous hinges, closes against a seamless poured-in-place gasket and secures with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid handling, and the natural stainless body has a smooth brushed finish.

Mounting channels welded inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the matching optional full size panel is 72WFW, finished in white powder paint. A grounding stud sits in the body and a bonding stud on the door.
