Hammond HGV95 950mm Vertical Grid Straps, 75mm Wide Pair

The HGV95 supplies two 950 mm (37.40 in) Vertical Grid Straps for building a component mounting grid inside HME modular enclosures. At 950 mm it sits between the short 750 mm strap and the full-height sizes, giving control panel builders a mid-length vertical rail for partial-height mounting.

Each strap is 75 mm (2.95 in) wide and formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel, listed by Hammond as plated steel. The drawing shows an overall length of 949 mm (37.36 in) against the 950 mm nominal size. Like all HMEGS grid straps, the face carries a pattern of alternating square holes for cage nuts and round holes for M5 or #12 screws at standard 25 mm centers.

Vertical Grid Straps mount flush to other straps using the included butt end bracket, creating a smooth, continuous mounting surface. The series ordering table lists no full-height HME cabinet fit for the 950 mm length (n/a), so the HGV95 is intended for partial-height vertical runs. For reference, the series notes that a full height vertical strap requires 2 x 75 mm Depth Grid Straps for the top and bottom.

Square holes accept the cage nuts listed for the Grid System, and round holes accept the listed M5 and #12 thread forming screws, such as 1421HPTM525 (Hex/Phillips threadrolling M5 x 12 mm) and 1421CT25 (Pan/Phillips threadrolling #12-24 x 0.5 in). The straps are sold in pairs, packed in a box, and are REACH and RoHS compliant.
